MyHealth Centre is now WELL Health Diagnostic Centre in Sault Ste. Marie! We’re the same team with a new name, located at 955 Queen Street East in the Doctor’s Building between the two hospitals. We provide OHIP-covered cardiology, ultrasound, X-ray and bone mineral density services – with shorter wait times, faster report turn-around, and the highest standard of patient care. Step 1: Requisition

Download our requisition and obtain a signed copy from your referring healthcare provider*. If possible, E-mail or fax the signed requisition to our clinic.

Step 2: Schedule

All of our services require a scheduled appointment, except X-ray, which is provided on a walk-in basis**. Please schedule your appointment by telephone, or live chat located in the bottom-right corner of this website.

Step 3: Test Preparation

Please review our Test Preparation Guide prior to your appointment. Bring your Ontario Health Card (OHIP) and requisition to your appointment and arrive 15 minutes early to register.***

*Our OHIP-covered services require a signed requisition from a certified Ontario healthcare provider, except mammography breast imaging for women ages 40-74 at select locations. If you need a requisition, you can visit a family doctor, walk-in clinic or community health center.

*Already have a doctor’s requisition? We accept signed requisitions from any certified Ontario healthcare facility, including hospitals and independent health facilities.

**Our walk-in X-ray hours may differ from our hours of operation. Please scroll up to view our current walk-in X-ray hours.

***If you have mobility concerns, please ask your caregiver to accompany and assist you.

We will send your diagnostic report to your referring healthcare provider, who will follow up with you. We can send it to additional healthcare providers upon your request.

My experience from the staff there was excellent my experience of interfacing with well health diagnostics to set up the appointment was excruciating. The only way to set up the appointment seems to have been on a digital platform called Ocean. I am a senior who has multiple sclerosis and has been having increasing difficulty navigating in the digital world and doing things through websites for the last 20 years when I finally gave up trying to make my appointment via the website and found a phone number I could call I got even more frustrated. They automated system kept telling me how sorry there were that my wait time was so long. The initial wait time was 55 minutes and for each and every one of those minutes I had to hear them apologize for the wait tell me I could be doing it online and then tell me your wait time is 54 minutes then another apology And the news that I could be doing it online and your wait time is 53 minutes. 55 full minutes of the same message again and again telling me I could do something I had opted not to do because it was too difficult for me is so ridiculously wrong. I do not understand how so many businesses and organizations do that kind of thing. If I'd been able to do it online I would have done it. I sure hope that both well health diagnostics and the digital platform they use for setting up appointments hears what I just said.
