I want to sincerely thank WELL Health Diagnostic Centres for something that may have truly saved my mom’s life. A few weeks ago, my mom received a simple text message reminder letting her know that women between 40–74 can self-refer for breast screening mammography. That message encouraged her to book a mammogram, and it led to the discovery of breast cancer. Thankfully, my mom was able to travel to our home country and receive timely treatment and surgery. Today, she is recovering well and back home with our family. We truly believe that if WELL Health had not sent that reminder, my mom may not have discovered the cancer until much later, and the outcome could have been very different. Sometimes a simple message can change, and even save, a life. Thank you to the staff and team for promoting preventative care and encouraging women to get screened. Our family will always be grateful.

I wouldn't have thought about getting a mammogram otherwise since I didn't notice anything wrong. I talked to my doctor about it and she agreed to my whim. Turns out I had stage 2 breast cancer.
